Together, Ralph and Piggy's qualities would make for a great leader, but not a perfect one. They would not have Jack's aggressive attitude and authority to be able to get a point across to the other children. In the novel, Ralph and Piggy both have difficultly trying to get their point across to the other children, while Jack does not have a problem with that.'"
